Arceus in Dream World

DW Arceus
At last, the wait is over! Arceus, the winner of the Vote to Befriend a Pokémon contest, has arrived in Dream World! Perhaps this is an incentive for me to return to Dream World... I don't know when was the last time I even went in! My poor Pikachu has been in a coma! Well... at least it's not 3 months--which is what happened when my cousin lost his Black version, and then found it 3 months afterwards. Funny thing is how he found it--just as he was about to go home for the weekend, he found it hiding underneath his Xbox 360 controller recharger.

Anyways, this Arceus is level 100, so no need for leveling here! I find it funny how none of my Pokémon have reached that level yet... I have yet to do that in a Pokémon game--not including spin-offs. Just that as soon as I complete the game, my attention on the game goes away...

The password to befriend Arceus is on the Pokémon official website, and is available until May 1, so don't miss out!

From Both Sides Now

I know, it's been a while since I put up anything new. With school and such, I hardly get the motivation to do so. But that doesn't mean I'm not doing anything. In fact, I've been doing a lot game-wise too. For instance, I finally got myself to use the JP DLC patch for PSP:2, though it's probably a little too late--no one is playing anymore!

HMTTT Crops
I've also been playing Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns for the DS. I didn't quite know whether to get the DS or 3DS version, but in the end, I decided to get the DS version. At the time, only the DS version was released, and I obviously didn't have a 3DS.

Over the river and through the woods...

To the Spooky Manor we go! It was nice to get a new Dream Island area with the maintenance on September 27, and quite fitting for Halloween. Another incentive for me to visit Dream World regularly... again. As usual, updates are not very frequent, and I'm busy with school, so I only had gone in every now and then.

The Great Outdoors... In Your Hands

Camping Mama Camp
The time I go back to school is the time Mama goes on vacation? Since I'm pretty much into the Cooking Mama DS games, of course I have to give Camping Mama: Outdoor Adventures a go. Though I saw Mama's outdoor side in Gardening Mama, I never thought she'd be in the wilderness. Well, at least for a while she is not in her usual apron. She even brought along her husband and kids too. I might've known that Mama does have a daughter, as her first appearance was in Cooking Mama 3, but this was the first time I've ever seen Mama's son.

More C-Gear skins?!

Audino C-Gear Skin Pikachu C-Gear 2
Yup! Even though I haven't tried out the Minccino skin yet. The Earful Audino (left) and 2011 Pokémon World Championships (right) C-Gear skins are now available on PGL. These actually came back-to-back, with Audino on August 3, and PWC on August 4.

The password for the Audino skin is available as a promotion on Yahoo! Kids. The JP one had a Pokémon Center text right above the connected people counter, but this one doesn't. I wish they left it there, though... But still a nice, yet not too flashy design. The 2011 PWC skin is made to promote the 2011 Pokémon World Championships, hence the name. It also features the official artwork for the event, which is really nice. I like the city motif and skateboarding Pikachu.

The password for Audino is YAHOOAUDINO, and the password for 2011 PWC is WorldsCGear. Unlike the previous skins, these are only available until September 15, so get them while you can!

Pikachu and Minccino C-Gear Skins

Pikachu C-Gear
Oh, goodie, a third PDW post in a row! I just don't have anything else interesting to talk about. Anyways, the July 7 update brought the Aim for the Top C-Gear skin featuring Pikachu! I was actually quite anxious about this one. My C-Gear was decorated with the Munna skin for sometime now, but I'm happy to replace it with Pikachu. The Munna skin made my C-Gear sorta bright and made my eyes bleed.

For those not in the know, those that attend Pokémon events in real life can get the password for this skin until August 31 of next year. I don't go to those things, so how would I know the password in the first place? Anyways, somehow, the text box for the skin wouldn't cooperate with me, so I tricked it by typing the password on an IM, then copy and paste.

I guess I'll be nice and give away the password right here: PikachuCGear. (Minus the period)

Minccino C-Gear Skin
July 14: the Twinkle✩Minccino C-Gear skin is now available in PGL! I figure it would make things easier if I just talk about it on this post instead of making a new one. Unlike the last two skins, the password for this one is technically free on the Pokémon official website. The password is PGLWELCOME -- all caps. I'm also looking forward to checking this one out, that is, after I try out Pikachu.

An update?

PDW Update 1
The maintenance in PGL yesterday (which lasted a long 24 hours) brought back a huge update in PDW. Now that I can have 20 Dream Pals, I don't particularly have to worry about deleting old ones. I used to be so conscious about the list because I hate to turn down requests because it is full. However, the most important thing is the increased number of rows in the garden. Right now, I have 5 rows instead of 4. This makes berry cultivating much more efficient. I should be going into Dream World more often now. I stopped going in regularly after I unlocked Sparkling Sea.
